"Best beaches in sicily with "Bandiera Blu"
The “Bandiera Blu” is an international recognition, established in 1987 European year of the environment, which is awarded every year in 49 countries. It’s a voluntary eco-label assigned by UNEP ( United Nations Environment Program) and UNWTO (World Tourism Organization) with which the FEE (Foundation of Environmental Education) has signed a global partnership protocol recognized by UNESCO as a world leader in environmental education and education for sustainable development. It is assigned to seaside resort that observe parameters concerning the sustainable management area. The main objective of this program is to address the local management policy of many coastal resorts, towards a process of environmental sustainability.
